Dr. Leahy is board certified in internal medicine. Her patient/physician philosophy is as follows: "I like to think of the patient/doctor relationship as a partnership, with both of us working together toward a common goal of optimum health. I strive to get to know my patients as individuals, so that we can find the approach that is right for them. The long term relationships that result are what make medicine rewarding for me."

Her personal interests include spending time with her husband and two young children, gardening, and cooking for her family and friends.
