Dr. Thomas is board certified in internal medicine. Her patient/physician philosophy is as follows: "What I enjoy most about being a physician is getting to know my patients in the context of their lives. I value celebrating their new job, mourning a loss or meeting a dear family member. It is rewarding and interesting!"

Her personal interests include travel and learning about other cultures. She states, "My patients are often great teachers of their respective cultures. I volunteer at Haller Lake Christian Health Clinic and enjoy mission trips abroad and time with my family here at home."
