Dr. Johnson is board certified in internal medicine and serves as the department chair of internal medicine for Minor & James Medical. He has been recognized as one of Seattle's "Top Doctors" by Seattle Metropolitan Magazine.

His patient/physician philosophy is as follows: "A strong physician/patient relationship with good communication is the key to excellent health care. A general internist is uniquely trained to provide and coordinate high-quality medical care focusing on prevention as well as acute and chronic disease management."

His personal interests include spending time outdoors with his family, camping, cycling and fishing.
