Working with Swedish Medical Center, we have helped to develop the Joslin Center for Diabetes at Swedish Medical Center into a premier location for diagnosis, treatment and education of patients with diabetes mellitus. It is clearly proven that the complications of diabetes can be reduced or eliminated altogether by careful teaching and thoughtful therapy. Our endocrinologists are committed to partnering with our patients to achieve this goal.
Osteoporosis is a bone disease which, if left untreated, can lead to fractures and deformities of the spine and extremities. Early diagnosis and treatment is effective in preventing or reversing the effects of this crippling disease. The endocrinologists at Minor & James have played an important role in bringing this condition to the attention of the community, and continue to lead efforts to discover and treat this common cause of disability among the elderly. |
