Patient/Physician Philosophy:
For almost 30 years, I have had the pleasure and joy of caring for patients with colorectal problems. I pride myself in the close personal relationships I have developed with my patients. From the youngest patient facing serious, potentially life-changing surgery for colitis, to the elderly cancer patient facing a colostomy, my philosophy is to give technically superior care in a dignified, open and caring manner.

Personal Interests:
I enjoy spending time & traveling with my four children and my wife, particularly to Greece, where I occasionally work & teach. I also enjoy skiing, fly fishing and bird hunting.

Why Minor & James Medical:
Having been in a solo private practice for many years prior to joining Minor & James Medical, I am confident that being part of a team of physicians I regard as the best in Seattle allows my patients to receive optimal health care.

The Gastroenterology Division at Minor & James Medical includes nine physicians and 14 nurses who are specialists in Adult Gastroenterology, Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology (liver conditions), and Colon & Rectal Surgery.
