Billing & Insurance

Minor & James Medical accepts most local and many national insurance plans, including Medicare. We also bill Regence Blue Shield, Premera, and other contracted health plans. However, it is your responsibility to understand whether your insurance has limits on the doctors you can see or the services you can receive.

If your insurance plan requires a referral from your primary care physician to see a specialist, please be aware that the referral must be received prior to the scheduled appointment with the specialist. You may be asked to sign a waiver if the referral has not been obtained at the time of the appointment.

If you provide complete and accurate information about your insurance, we will submit claims to your insurance carrier and receive payment for services. Depending on your insurance coverage, you may be responsible for co-payments, co-insurance or other deductible amounts.

Minor & James Medical accepts cash, personal checks, VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Card. Credit card payments may be made in person or by telephone at 206-386-9555.
