Interpreter Services
We provide qualified medical interpreters free of charge for patients needing language interpretation or with hearing loss at Minor & James Medical. Patients and/or family members can request an interpreter by contacting their physician’s office. In person interpreters are provided for over 50 languages and dialects and telephone interpreters are available for over 150 languages.
For any other services or special requests, please ask a member of the Minor & James staff.
Federal and State laws mandate equal access to services for all patients regardless of language needs or disability. Minor & James Medical supports ensuring effective communication between patients and their medical providers by providing qualified interpretation services for all patients. We do not recommend the use of family members, friends or children as interpreters, as we want you to receive confidential, accurate medical interpretation. Please contact us at any time to let us know how we can serve you better or to give feedback on your interpreter services experience.
