Laboratory

Our lab provides patients with quick but thorough services, resulting in prompt turnaround times to support our on-site Ambulatory Surgery Center, Imaging Center, Infusion Center and Coumadin/Anti-Coagulation Clinics.

 Laboratory services play an important role in our patient care. To best serve you:

• Most tests are done on-site and reported to your physician the same day.
• We provide blood-drawing services at all locations during regular working hours.
• Our lab technologists and phlebotomists are Washington State Certified and Regulated, assuring you receive precise, accurate service with minimal discomfort.

We also invest in the most updated technology available and are licensed to perform highly complex laboratory testing in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, urinalysis and immunochemistry.

Minor & James Medical is committed to your safety. For quality control and competency assurance, our laboratory and personnel undergo proficiency testing three times a year. As a licensed Medical Test Site, we are inspected every two years by the Washington State Department of Health-Laboratory Quality Assurance Program.

Laboratory Services are located at the First Hill Medical Building in Suite 100 and 300, Bellevue Commons and Mercer Island Clinic of Medicine. Please call ahead for blood draws at Bellevue Commons and Mercer Island Clinic.

Hours of Operation

First Hill Medical Building, 1st Floor Lab, Suite 100: Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
First Hill Medical Building, 3rd Floor Lab, Suite 300: Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
Bellevue Commons: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; 1:30-4:15 p.m.
Mercer Island Clinic of Medicine: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m - 12:30p.m.; 1:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
