Our pediatric and adult sports medicine division at Minor & James Medical provides evidence-based, patient-focused care for your musculoskeletal and activity-related medical needs.

Most musculoskeletal conditions, including many fractures, rotator cuff syndromes, and back pain, are best managed without surgery. We will evaluate your symptoms, define a diagnosis and determine if and when surgery is needed. We understand the importance of gaining back your functionality as soon as possible so we will maximize use of physical therapy and can often get you in for same- or next-day appointments.

Our sports medicine physicians treat many conditions including:

•  Nonoperative fractures, including stress fractures, fractures of the proximal humerus, feet, toes, fingers, wrists and others
• Shoulder pain, including rotator cuff syndromes, frozen shoulder and little league shoulder
• Knee injuries and pain

  

• Pediatric traumatic and overuse injuries
• Adult traumatic and overuse injuries
• Concussions
• Spine-related pain, including whiplash, sciatica
• Comprehensive sports pre-participation exams

 We see patients over the age of 5, regardless of their sport involvement or activity level, at our Bellevue and First Hill locations. For your convenience, many services including splinting, casting and injections are also available at these locations.
